The GRadulting Workshop Series

What is GRadulting?!

GRadulting is defined as graduate students who are "adulting" -- (v): to carry out one or more of the duties and responsibilities expected of fully developed individuals, such as paying off student loans, buying a home, negotiating a salary, or estate planning. 

In the GRadulting Workshop Series, you'll fine help navigating the stuff grad school doesn’t teach you. Hour-long sessions during the spring and fall semesters cover practical, real-life topics that matter to UMD graduate students. Workshops take place on Tuesday afternoons, either on Zoom or in person, and feature advice from knowledgeable experts on and off campus. Can’t make it live? Many sessions are recorded so you can watch on your own time.

Register on TerpLink to attend a GRadulting Workshop.  Registrants will receive the Zoom link or location information the morning of the workshop. After the workshop, we will send you links to the recording, the slides, and any other resources the speaker shared. The upcoming schedule and resources for past workshops are shown below.
